Philadelphia Marketplace, the food and retail shops at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), has partnered with Grab Airport, an e-commerce platform offering convenient mobile food ordering for PHL’s more than 32.2 million annual passengers.
The Grab Airport app aims to ease the airport concessions experience for travelers by offering meal ordering capabilities right at their fingertips. Participating merchants are searchable by food type and terminal, and orders will be ready for pick-up at the counter allowing guests to fly past the line. First-time users can enter the promo code RUSH to save 20 percent off their first order through Dec. 31.
The current list of participating restaurants includes: Bar Symon, Bruegger’s Bagels, California Pizza Kitchen, Chickie’s & Pete’s (four locations), Dunkin’ (Concourse D & D/E Connector), Earl of Sandwich, Far East, Jamba (two locations), Mo’ Burger, Philly Pretzel Factory, Piattino, Red Mango, Saladworks, and Smashburger (three locations).
The goal of the partnership is to expand Grab Airport’s mobile ordering capability throughout the majority of the airport concessions offering, which consist of more than 170 shops, restaurants and services. More merchants will be added to the program in the coming months, so stay tuned.
“We are excited to offer the Grab Airport app to our passengers and continually aim to improve their travel experience here at PHL,” said Mel Hannah, vice president and general manager of Philadelphia marketplace. “We’ve had great success with the initial roll out of the program and are excited to expand the offering in time for the busy holiday travel season that will soon be upon us.”
