New Airport Director Named at Flint Bishop Airport
The Bishop International Airport Authority voted unanimously to appoint Nino Sapone, A.A.E., currently it’s Interim Airport Director as the permanent Airport Director effective immediately.
Win Cooper, chairperson of the board, “We are excited to have Nino at the helm! Bishop Airport has many positive things happening. Nino is at the top of the list. We welcome him as our new Director.”

Sapone originally came to Flint Bishop, after a nationwide search for his prior position, from Pittsburgh International Airport, where he served as the Vice President, Airport Operations. He has over 25 years of industry experience with strong technical and business qualifications; an impressive track record of hands-on and progressive experience in strategic planning; business development, and project management.
