Paradies Lagardère and Saskatoon International Airport Join Forces to Fight Hunger
Paradies Lagardère and Saskatoon International Airport are excited to announce a new initiative designed to help fight hunger in the city. The program, which launched Oct. 21, allows travelers, airline and airport employees the opportunity to purchase and donate convenience foods, healthy snacks, HABA, beverages, and other items, which will then be distributed to the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Center.
“Paradies Lagardère is excited to launch this partnership with Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Center at the Saskatoon International Airport,” said Gregg Paradies, president and CEO, Paradies Lagardère. “We’ve received positive feedback regarding our initiatives to fight hunger at the Edmonton and Calgary airports from both our partners and travelers. We’re always looking for new opportunities to make a positive and impactful difference in the lives of our employees, business partners and customers.”
“This new initiative with Paradies Lagardère will bring much needed personal care items to the community. We hope this gift inspires those who are travelling to think about donating before they head off on their trip. It is wonderful to see this kind of innovation in ways to support the community – thank you so much!” said Laurie O’Connor, executive director, Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Center.
