Stellar Partners Inc. Opens First Permanent WIRED Store in Newark Liberty International Airport
Leading airport retailer Stellar Partners, Inc. (Stellar) opens the WIRED Store today in Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). The first ever permanent location, the new WIRED Store in EWR is a state-of-the-art technology and tech accessories outlet designed and built in partnership with Condé Nast and WIRED to push the boundaries of the airport retail experience. The WIRED Store is inspired by WIRED pop-up shops and features must-have gadgets, gear, and more.
“We are extremely pleased to work in such close partnership with the Condé Nast and WIRED teams to bring the innovative WIRED retail store to life,” said Stellar Vice President of Business Development & Strategic Alliances, Yasmin Sheriff. “This partnership means an exciting new retail experience for travelers.”
Experience and innovation are hallmarks of WIRED’s pop-up shops that have captured the imaginations of countless forward-thinking consumers from New York to Los Angeles. For EWR, WIRED and Stellar collaborated closely to answer the unique needs of the traveler market with an imaginative product assortment based on WIRED’s extensive experience and knowledge of the tech world, as well as Stellar’s airport retail environment expertise.
"For more than a decade now, WIRED's annual pop-up shops have been hugely successful and popular with our audience," said WIRED Editor in Chief Nick Thompson. "We're proud of the reputation that our temporary stores have built, and this permanent location will build on that by providing a place where consumers can touch and see the products they read about every day.
Travelers will find high-quality products recommended by WIRED editors such as headphones and earbuds from Beats, Sony, and Master & Dynamic, backpacks from Peak Design, and smart speakers from JBL. The teams will continue this collaboration to ensure EWR travelers always have the most current and desirable tech gear on the market. Additionally, shoppers will be able to pick up copies of WIRED magazine and have the opportunity to receive discounts on future subscriptions.
