Plaza Premium Group has arrived at Dubai International with the opening of its Plaza Premium Lounge in Terminal 3 Concourse A. This lounge welcomes up to 300 guests with a 1,260-square-meter space, the terminal’s largest independent pay-per-use airport lounge in the busiest transit hub in the Middle East. Plaza Premium Lounge Dubai features several areas for a pleasant journey including four family suites, dedicated children’s Playroom, “first-class” private napping space, a cigar lounge, and male and female prayer rooms. Travelers will also find a best-in-class culinary offering with “glocal” Arabic, Asian, and International cuisine freshly prepared at live kitchen stations.

Situated on the upper level overlooking departure gates A2 and A3, the lounge resembles a balcony sweeping with natural lights from the airport’s high ceilings
Guests unwinding at the lounge can appreciate the tarmac views while watching the movement of travelers on the walkways below. Drawing inspiration from Dubai’s unique landscape, the lounge space is designed with elements to represent the movement of the waves of desert and ocean. Dubai can be experienced at reception with a blue backdrop portraying the city skyline. Rounded corners applied throughout the space symbolize sand dunes and wall features mimic the movement of sands in the wind.
Plaza Premium Lounge Dubai is the only airport lounge to offer four 10-square-meter Family Suites catering to the needs of big families or small groups with the inclusion of services by a team of multi-lingual butlers who speak Arabic, Russian, Hindi, Tagalog and Turkish. Travelers opting for the Family Suite will also enjoy Arabic coffee and dates, and welcome drinks. As part of the brand’s promise to promote family-friendliness and sustainability, the dedicated Playroom – the only dedicated kids’ zone at the terminal – is highlighted by colourful murals of camels, palm trees and iconic buildings in Dubai, and features educational and sustainably made toys by international toy brand Masterkidz. Five shower rooms are available for guests to freshen up before a long-haul flight, while Plaza Premium Lounge’s signature honeycomb workstations are perfect for business travelers needing a private space. A unique feature is a row of the single-person, in-flight cabin lookalike relaxation seats with sliding doors to convert the personal space into private napping area.
Guests will experience the movement of sand and wind as they enter the enclosed bar area, with wall features mimicking the call of the desert. A cigar lounge with dedicated entry is attached. Following the brand’s “go green” culinary approach to reduce carbon footprint and to support the local community, Plaza Premium Lounge Dubai presents a glocal cuisine freshly made in live cooking stations with ingredients sourced locally to create Arabic, Asian and International cuisines. Hydration stations with fruit-infused drinks are also on offer. Specially designed menus for kids and infants are available in addition to gluten-free options on request for travelers with special dietary requirements.
The lounge at Dubai International is the sixth Plaza Premium Lounge in the Middle East, joining existing locations in Abu Dhabi (two), Dammam, Riyadh and Salalah. It is also the latest addition to the brand’s global network of more than 70 locations in Greater China, Asia Pacific, Americas, Europe and India.
