Maryland Pizzeria Now Serving Travelers at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport
Ledo Pizza has been making rolled to order pies in Maryland since 1955. Now, visitors can enjoy Ledo Pizza’s famous rectangular-shaped pizzas for the first time in two locations at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. Airport officials and guests participated in a pie-cutting ceremony along with a first ride on the Cream Cruiser for the grand opening celebration on Feb. 12.
The new pizzerias in the Main Terminal (pre-security) and B Concourse offer signature Ledo Pizza pies made with fresh handmade dough and the same quality cheese, tomatoes and thick cut pepperoni it’s known for. Other delicious entrees include calzones, soups, salads and subs. The pre-security location also features premium hand-crafted ice cream sandwiches, gelato pops, parfaits and sorbetto pops from Cream Cruiser, another Baltimore original.
“We are thrilled to welcome two original “made in Maryland” concepts to our program at BWI Marshall Airport and enhance our offerings for travelers,” said Gary Gilliard, vice president, of Fraport Maryland, the developer and manager of the airport’s concessions program.
