Central Wisconsin Joint Airport Board Recognizes Airport Director for Professional Achievement
The Central Wisconsin Joint Airport Board recognized the Central Wisconsin Airport (CWA) Director, Brian Grefe, at its Nov. 20 Board meeting for earning the professional designation of Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.) The American Association of Airport Executives administers the accreditation process, which requires candidates to complete a three-phased evaluation including a multiple-choice exam, a writing requirement, and an oral interview to obtain the designation. This is the highest professional mark someone can earn in the airport industry.
“Brian’s achievement is a testament to the level of professionalism he brings to CWA and the community it serves. With the new challenges brought on by COVID, the aviation industry is experiencing its greatest transformation since 9/11. Our community will be relying on Brian to navigate these changes to ensure the airport continues to serve the needs of our businesses and citizens. We are privileged to have someone of Brian’s caliber filling this role,” said Sara Guild, Chair – Central Wisconsin Joint Airport Board
