Long-time Northern Nevada builder United Construction Company has contracted with Dassault Group to expand the aircraft manufacturer’s current facility on the northeast side of RenoTahoe International Airport.
The 11,000 square foot, two-story addition will feature training and conference rooms, parts and records storage, locker rooms, a quality assurance department and avionics work room. Dassault Aviation, a subsidiary of Dassault Group, is a French-based aircraft manufacturer of military and business jets.
United Construction delivered the original building in 1996 as an aircraft maintenance hangar for Reno Air. United’s in-house architects designed Dassault’s expansion, expected to be completed in late June.
