Now Serving Nashville’s Celebrated Hot Chicken at BNA

March 8, 2021

Nothing says Nashville like hot chicken, and travelers at Nashville International Airport (BNA) can get their fill at the new 400 degrees restaurant in Concourse C. The new location brings 400 degrees' crispy hot chicken from its food truck origins to an airport setting for the first time.

"We are extremely excited to bring locally recognized 400 degrees hot chicken to Nashville International Airport," says Seth Merin, vice president of operations for Air Ventures, LLC. "We look forward to serving up the best hot chicken, local craft beers, cocktails, and southern hospitality to passengers taking flight."

Proprietor Aqui Hines, a Nashville native and Tennessee State University graduate, turned her love of cooking – and hot chicken – into a successful business. The secret to her winning dishes is deep-frying, instead of pan-frying, and varying the amount of cayenne and paprika to turn out some of Nashville's best hot chicken. The menu items range in intensity from mild to medium to hot – 400 degrees. Even the fries are doused with fiery spices.

"With 400 degrees at BNA, we're serving travelers a taste of hot Nashville on a plate," says Matt Jennings, vice president of Fraport Tennessee. "This is where you go to enjoy elevated fare paired with candy-sweet baked beans or creamy coleslaw. It doesn't get better than this."

With a prime location in Concourse C, the spacious restaurant and bar is open daily to serve passengers. In addition to the specials of the house, guests can enjoy an array of local craft beers and specialty drinks.
