ESA Adds Senior Airports Planner Jean-Christophe Dick to Airports Practice Group
Environmental Science Associates (ESA) welcomed Senior Airports Planner Jean-Christophe (JC) Dick to the firm’s airports practice. Based in Southern CA, JC possesses more than 15 years of experience as a multidisciplinary airport consultant and will work with ESA’s aviation professionals throughout the West Coast and across the country to deliver integrated planning and environmental solutions for clients.
Joining ESA from his most recent position as managing consultant at Landrum & Brown, JC is well versed in leading airport planning projects, including those involving airfield and aircraft movement planning, terminal planning, and safety studies. His expertise includes navigating complex technical regulations and documents issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP), International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and International Air Transport Association (IATA).
JC has worked on projects for several major airports, including Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD), Long Beach Airport (LGB), and San Diego International Airport (SAN).

JC is an FAA-certificated pilot and holds the following certifications through IATA: Aviation for Law Managers, Aviation Marketing, and Aircraft Operating Lease Contracts. He currently sits on the board of LAX’s Flight Path Museum and Learning Center. JC earned his B.S. in business & technology with a minor in economics from the Stevens Institute of Technology.
