Saskatoon Airport Authority Announces New Board Members
On April 28, Saskatoon Airport Authority (SAA) announced the nomination of three new members, Clint Weiland, Lee Braaten and Todd Brandt to its board of directors.
With the addition of these new members, the board announces the retirement of long-standing board members, Leslie Prosser and Brent Schuler, who have both served on the Board since 2012. “The Saskatoon Airport Authority has benefited immensely from Leslie and Brent’s commitment, dedication and support to the Board," expressed Stephen Maybury, president and CEO of Skyxe Saskatoon Airport. “We are grateful for their time, enthusiasm and leadership and will continue to benefit from their contributions as we focus on the future with optimism and resilience.”
The nomination of SAA’s newest board members was made public on April 28 by David Weger, SAA Board Chair at its Annual Public Meeting, which was pre-recorded and posted to the SAA website due to the circumstances surrounding COVID-19. Weiland was nominated by the City of Saskatoon and replaces Leslie Prosser. Braaten and Brandt were both nominated by the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce and replace Brent Schuler and the vacancy left by the late Bob Korol.
“We are pleased to welcome Clint, Lee and Todd to our Board,” stated David Weger. “These new members to the Board bring a wealth of experience and knowledge that will play a key role as SAA continues executing on its Vision to be Canada’s most valued airport experience.”
