The County of Sacramento, Department of Aviation has named Stephen Clark, C.M., as Deputy Director, Airport Commercial Development. In this role, Clark will oversee and lead business development; air service development; communications and marketing; leasing of airport facilities and land; and agreements with airlines and other tenants. Nov. 29 marks his start date.
Clark brings a strong operational and business development background to his new position. Most recently, he was the Director of Commercial Development for Gerald R. “I am looking forward to the opportunity to work alongside a team laser-focused on creating a highquality experience not only for the region's passengers but its airline and business partners,” said Clark. “More importantly, however, with four airports in the Sacramento Airport system, I am incredibly excited to dig in with the airport team and community partners in building a high-performing airport ecosystem. One that ties together general/business aviation to fuel the region's leisure and business needs while uncovering opportunities to create a more inclusive and dynamic economy that connects air cargo and people to the places that matter most.”
Clark earned his bachelor’s degree in Aviation Science from Utah Valley University. He is a Certified Member (C.M.) of the American Association of Airport Executives and serves on several committees with the Airports Council International-North America.
