Key Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Leadership Appointments Announced
The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority announces several key appointments to the executive leadership team.
Christopher Paolino was named vice president for Strategy and Operational Performance, driving long-term business strategy and strategic alignment of the operations for Reagan National and Dulles International airports. Paolino began his career with the airports authority nearly a decade ago in 2013 as media relations program manager, before taking on leadership roles within the Department of Technology. Since March 2018, he has served as the deputy vice president for Strategy, Business Transformation and Performance, overseeing a team of analysists handling the Airports Authority’s long-term strategic planning, as well as the management and enhancement of the organization’s primary back-office enterprise resource planning system. Prior to joining the Airports Authority, Paolino worked in the legislative and executive branches, including serving as deputy director of communications at the U.S. Department of the Interior. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and a Master of Business Administration from William & Mary.
Paul B. Bobson is joining the executive team as vice president of Airline Business Development, where he will oversee the development and implementation of new air service at Washington, D.C.’s commercial airports. Bobson joins the airports authority from Omni Air International, where he has served as the director of business development and marketing, directing all nontraditional commercial business and commercial marketing. Prior to that, he worked in air service development programs for the State of Maryland, focusing on Baltimore/Washington International Airport in Baltimore, as well as at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas. He holds a bachelor’s degree in aviation business administration and a Master of Business Administration in aviation from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Bernice Lemaire-Harvey has been named vice president of the Office of Audit. She previously served as chief auditor in the Office of Benefits Administration of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, as well as holding senior auditing positions with the U.S. Government Accountability Office, the Federal Home Loan Bank and the Office of Inspector General at the Securities and Exchange Commission. Lemaire-Harvey also has worked with the U.S. Senate Ethics Committee and top accounting firms. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Mount Saint Mary’s University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus, numerous professional certifications and is a certified public accountant.
