Huntsville Madison County Airport Authority Appoints Robert Pro as Chief Financial Officer
The Huntsville Madison County Airport Authority (HMCAA) has named Robert Pro as chief financial officer. In this role, Pro will perform administrative and financial management work in directing the business, accounting, financial, purchasing, MIS, DBE, property and related functions of the airport authority. He will begin his position on April 19.
“We are excited to have Bob as a member of our team,” said Rick Tucker, CEO Port of Huntsville. “His diverse background and experience in manufacturing, utilities and public accounting will be a valuable perspective for our organization.”
Bringing over 25 years of financial management experience, Pro most recently worked for Polaris Industries as Controller of the company’s Huntsville Operations. Polaris Industries is a Minneapolis-based manufacturing company with revenues of approximately $6 billion. Pro has a broad background in manufacturing, operations, and public accounting, including international responsibilities. He has also worked for Watts Water Technologies; Duquesne Light Company; Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems; Eaton Corporation – Automotive Division; Honeywell International Inc.; Builders First Source Inc.; and Rockwell International Corporation.

Pro earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Saint Vincent College. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is Six Sigma Black Belt-Certified.
