Fort Smith Regional Airport Appoints Tiffaney Farmer as Director of Operations
Fort Smith Regional Airport has named Tiffaney Farmer as the director of operations. In this role, Farmer will plan, organize and direct the day-to-day operations of the airport. She will also work with airport tenants, public officials other governmental agency representatives, airport staff and the general public.
Farmer brings over 10 years of airport operations experience. Since 2018, she has served as the airside operations manager at Dallas Love Field Airport. Early in her career, Farmer spent two years working under government contract on Forward Operating Bases in Afghanistan as an Airfield Operations Officer with Dyncorp International.
“I am excited to begin the role of director of operations at the Fort Smith Regional Airport,” said Farmer. “I am originally from the area and my passion for aviation started at this airport. My dad traveled a lot for work, so some of my earliest memories are of trips to the airport. I’m thrilled to be able to return to the airport as an employee. I look forward to being part of the upcoming construction projects and growth I am sure the airport is going to experience over the next few years.”
Farmer earned her bachelor’s degree in aviation management from the University of Oklahoma. She also earned a private pilot certificate and served as the first Airport Operations Intern at the Max Westheimer, University of Oklahoma’s airport.
