Napa County has named Mark Witsoe, A.A.E., as Airport Manager for Napa County Airport (KAPC). Reporting to the Deputy Director of Public Works, Mr. Witsoe will direct and coordinate the activities of the airport. In addition to managing the airport, Mr. Witsoe will also be responsible for the annual budget and the capital improvement program. He began his new position on August 22, 2022.
Mr. Witsoe has worked in the airport industry his entire professional career. He has served at airports in California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. Most recently he was the Director of Airports for Kern County, managing the day-to-day operations of the six county airports.

Mr. Witsoe earned his bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Industrial Technology from Arizona State University. He went on to receive his master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Nevada. He is an Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.) with the American Association of Airport Executives.
