Frontier Airlines Begins Nonstop Service from Detroit to San Francisco
Ultra-low fare carrier Frontier Airlines launched nonstop service from Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) to San Francisco International Airport (SFO). With the new service, Frontier serves a total of nine nonstop destinations from DTW. To celebrate, America’s Greenest Airline is offering fares as low as $119.*
Frontier is also currently offering the GoWild! All-You-Can-Fly Fall & Winter Pass for a limited-time at a special discounted price of $299. The fall & winter pass allows access to unlimited flights over the course of six months, from September 2023 through February 2024. Terms and conditions apply and are available on Frontier’s website.
“We’re thrilled to launch this new service from Detroit to San Francisco,” said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of commercial, Frontier Airlines. “Michiganders now have a convenient and affordable option to enjoy all the amazing sites and sounds of the ‘City by the Bay’ – one of the most picturesque and storied destinations on the U.S. West Coast.”
Frontier is focused on more than low fares. The carrier offers customers the ability to customize travel to their needs and budget. For example, customers can purchase options a la carte or in one low-priced bundle called the WORKS. This bundle includes refundability, a carry-on bag, a checked bag, the best available seat, waived change fees, and priority boarding.
The airline’s frequent flyer program, FRONTIER Miles, lets members enjoy many benefits as well as the ability to attain Elite status. Like the airline, FRONTIER Miles is family friendly and the program makes it easy for families to enjoy the rewards together, including family pooling of miles. FRONTIER Miles is aptly named because you earn one mile for every mile flown – no funny formulas at Frontier. Whether customers travel a little or a lot, they will find FRONTIER Miles rewarding.
