Naples Aviation’s Damien Neff Recognized With Industry Excellence Safety Award
The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) recognized Naples Aviation’s Damien Neff, Line Service Supervisor, with its 2023 NATA Safety 1st Certified Professional Award.
“Damien is a dedicated professional, who has risen through the ranks at Naples Aviation as a result of his commitment to safety and upholding professional standards,” said Byron Gray, Director of Fuel Based Operator (FBO) Services. “Throughout his time with us, Damien has consistently demonstrated his leadership and dedicated his time to mentoring and coaching the staff under his supervision.”
As a Line Service Supervisor, Damien is responsible for all movements, services, and personnel on the General Aviation Ramp at the Naples Airport. In this role, he oversees the safe operation of multi-million-dollar aircraft and hundreds of personnel, pilots, and passengers daily. Damien also earned his Airport Certified Employee from the American Association of Airport Executives in 2023.
NATA is the leading nonprofit trade association advocating for more than 2,700 aviation business companies, including FBOs, part 135 on-demand air carriers, part 145 maintenance repair stations, aviation fuel producers and suppliers, flight schools, air medical operators, and airport sponsors at general aviation airports.
