CBRE has been awarded the leasing assignment for aircraft hangar facilities, including a build-to-suit facility, at the Space Coast Regional Airport. Available hangars range from approximately 15,000 - 50,000 square feet and are capable of accommodating all narrow-body commercial aircraft and all large cabin jets.
Katrin Gist, the leader of CBRE’s Aviation Properties Practice, will be leading the marketing of these facilities and working closely with the facility developer, Alliance Capital Management Group and its strategic advisors, InterFlight Global Corporation.
“The Space Coast airport is very attractive to the aerospace industry as it is also an FAA licensed spaceport. The hangars can be built to suit to address the growing needs of companies involved in both the aviation and the space industry,” said Bruno Duarte, Alliance Capital’s CEO.
Located at the leading airport in the United States for the space industry flight support and other operations, including aerospace and defense companies, these brand-new custom hangars feature attached offices, storage, and workshop space, making it an ideal opportunity for, aerospace and defense companies, corporate flight departments, space support operators and other aviation related businesses. Tenants will have direct ground, rail, and waterway access to the Cape Canaveral and KSC launch and NASA facilities across from Space Coast Innovation Park.
“Hangar space of any kind is tough to come by in our current market, so to see space of this quality become available in such a strategic location is a truly special offering,” said Gist. InterFlight Global Chairman Oscar S. Garcia added, “there are decades of pent-up demand for specialized high quality hangars to support the growing space industry in this region.”
