San José Mineta International Airport (SJC) is excited to announce the launch of "Meet the Chefs," a new culinary program designed to enhance the passenger experience. This innovative series offers travelers the unique opportunity to enjoy live cooking demonstrations by celebrated chefs from the Airport's restaurants.Jim Stump's Taproom + Kitchen, which opened on April 26, 2023, has quickly become a popular spot to catch a bit while passing through SJC. The restaurant, situated near Gates 23 and 24 in Terminal B, is open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. The gastropub-style menu showcases Stump's culinary expertise, featuring everything from a refreshing quinoa and kale salad to his signature Bolognese. The "Meet the Chefs" series of events will continue to delight passengers periodically, further strengthening SJC's reputation for exceptional dining and customer service.

On Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024, passengers had the pleasure of experiencing Stump's exceptional culinary skills and taste his unique Monterey Bay Vermillion Rock Fish Ceviche served with guacamole, salsa match and a blue corn tortilla chip. "Almost one year after we inaugurated Jim Stump's Taproom + Kitchen, SJC passengers had the chance to witness Jim Stump's culinary brilliance firsthand,” said SJC’s Director of Aviation John Aitken. “Events such as these aim to provide the excellent customer experience our travelers expect and deserve.
