Ryan Collins, C.M., Named Deputy Executive Director by The Susquehanna Area Airport Authority
The Susquehanna Area Regional Airport Authority has named Ryan Collins, C.M., Deputy Executive Director, responsible for Harrisburg International Airport (MDT) and three general aviation airports. In this position, Mr. Collins will assist the Executive Director with business administration, planning, construction, operations, maintenance, marketing, air service development and public relations. Mr. Collins began his new role on March 4, 2024.
Mr. Collins has 20 years of experience in aviation management and operations. Most recently, he was Airport Director – Operations and Maintenance for Milwaukee International Airport and Lawrence J. Timmerman Airport. In that role, he led a team of nearly 200 employees; managed a $40 million operating budget; and directed the airport’s Capital Improvement Plan. He has also worked for the Massachusetts Port Authority as Airport Operations Manager and for Martha’s Vineyard Airport as Airport Operations Specialist/Firefighter.

Mr. Collins earned a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Air Traffic Management from Daniel Webster College. He is a Certified Member (C.M.) with the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) and is a private pilot.
