Amy Goethals Named Deputy Airport Director, Commercial and Revenue Development by The County of Orange
The County of Orange has named Amy Goethals as Deputy Airport Director, Commercial and Revenue Development. In this position, she is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring all commercial real estate property contracts involving John Wayne Airport (SNA). Ms. Goethals has been serving as the interim Deputy Airport Director, Commercial and Revenue Development and officially began her new role on March 8, 2024.
Ms. Goethals brings more than 11 years of experience in airport development, airport regulations, shopping center development, property management, concessions, land use compatibility, Fixed Base (FBO) development, procurement, and ACDBE/DBE programs. In her role with SNA, she has led the creation and implementation of a multi-phase concession solicitation and development
program to maximize existing locations and improve the passenger experience. Ms. Goethals has also served as Director of Commercial Real Estate for the Ontario International Airport Authority and as Assistant Property Manager for Lewis Retail Centers. Ms. Goethals received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the California State University.
