The Ontario International Airport Authority Names Celeste Heinonen as Chief Financial Officer
The Ontario International Airport Authority has named Celeste Heinonen as Chief Financial Officer. In this position, Ms. Heinonen will play a key role in the Authority’s leadership team, overseeing the development and execution of financial goals and objectives. She will create the Authority’s financial plans, including annual operating and capital budgets. Ms. Heinonen began her new role on May 28, 2024.
Ms. Heinonen has a strong background in data-driven analysis and strategic problem solving. Most recently she was Director – Operating Budget for the Massachusetts Port Authority. In this role, she oversaw the operating budget, including a portfolio of up to $1 billion in annual operating revenues and $600 million in annual expenses. She has also held the titles of Airport Business Finance Manager and Concession Finance Manager for the Massachusetts Port Authority.

Ms. Heinonen received a bachelor’s degree in English and in Human Development & Organizational Studies from Boston College. She went on to earn her master’s degree in Business Administration from Suffolk University.
