EnSight Technologies, in partnership with FAAC Parking Solutions, has been chosen by Norfolk International Airport to implement an advanced AI-based parking guidance and occupancy management system throughout the airport’s five parking facilities. The cutting-edge system will feature a vision-based machine learning hybrid approach, utilizing over 100 cameras to provide comprehensive real-time space occupancy monitoring in each of the airport’s four garages and one surface parking lot. Altogether, the system will provide parking guidance and occupancy management for over 1,000 parking spaces.

EnSight’s technology supports in-motion level counting zones and individual monitoring of ADA spaces, ensuring efficient and accessible parking solutions for all passengers. By leveraging AI and machine learning, the system will enhance accuracy and responsiveness, greatly improving the user experience. In addition to the advanced monitoring capabilities, the project also includes the installation of new interactive digital signage in the B and C garages. These signs will guide passengers to available parking spaces quickly and easily, significantly reducing the time spent searching for parking and alleviating congestion. This upgrade will enhance the overall parking experience, increase operational efficiency, and provide a smoother, more convenient journey for travelers.
