Sacramento International Airport (SMF) and Alaska Airlines are thrilled to announce the launch of four new seasonal flights starting January 2025. These new flights will enhance travel options for Sacramento residents, offering convenient connections to popular vacation destinations.
Beginning January 2025, Alaska Airlines will commence service to:
- Puerto Vallarta (PVR), Mexico: Flights every Saturday from January 11 to April 19. The flight will depart SMF at 10:00 AM and arrive at SMF at 6:46 PM.
- San Jose del Cabo (SJD), Mexico: Flights five times a week (excluding Tuesday and Wednesday) from January 6 to April 21. The flights will depart SMF at 10:00 AM and arrive in Sacramento at 5:25 PM.
- Tucson (TUS), Arizona: Daily flights from January 6 to April 21, departing at 3:00 PM and arriving at SMF at 2:20 PM.
- Orlando (MCO), Florida: Flights four times a week (Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday) from January 6 to April 21. Flights will depart SMF at 8:30 AM and arrive at SMF at 9:00 PM.
These new routes come as part of Alaska Airlines' continued commitment to expanding its service and providing travelers with more options for their seasonal travel needs.

This announcement follows other recent expansions including flights to Miami, Eugene, Kansas City, and Kona and Kauai in Hawaii. Sacramento travelers can now enjoy direct access to even more destinations, making their travel experiences more convenient and enjoyable.
