WH Smith North America Opens Three New Retail Stores at Salt Lake City International Airport

WH Smith North America (WHSNA), America’s leading specialty retailer in the airport marketplace, is pleased to announce three new concepts at Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC). Travel+Right, Weller Book Works and Cotopaxi are now open inside Concourse B.

 

Travel+Right features a unique collection of health and wellness products, travel accessories, food and beverage, apparel and more. Created by ACDBE partner, Airport Retail Group, LLC, the brand is centered in conscious choices, from design to product offerings, and research into the heart of why and how people travel, resulting in four pillars of the Travel+Right brand: hyper-local offerings, healthy choices, sustainability and giving back. 

 

“We are thrilled to be opening our first Travel+Right travel essentials store in SLC’s beautiful new concourse B with our partner WHSmith North America,” says Pady Regnier, Founder of Airport Retail Group, Inc., owner of the Travel+Right brand. “Travel+Right features local and regional grab and go food, snacks and gifts, as well as an opportunity for travelers and locals to participate in a Giveback program benefitting the Utah Food Bank.”

 

Weller Book Works is one of Salt Lake City's most treasured bookstores, serving the city since 1929. The family owned and operated store is now available to global travelers at SLC. Its crew of passionate and avid readers have curated a wide selection of new, used and rare books that are perfect entertainment for travel.

 

Cotopaxi is a one-stop-shop for responsibly made outdoor gear, apparel, packs and more. Named after one of the world's highest active volcanoes located in Ecuador, Cotopaxi represents the spirit of outdoor adventuring while maintaining strong ethical practices that prioritize sustainability, workers’ rights and fighting poverty.

On Oct. 22, representatives from WH Smith North America, including Brian Griffin, VP of Operations, Central, joined airport officials and local partners to celebrate these openings and other installations at the airport.

 

With the opening of these three stores, WH Smith North America now operates a total of 11 stores around the airport, including brands like @ease, Public Market and The Utah Jazz Team Store.
