On Feb. 3, NanoLumens Inc. announced that they are NDAA 889 compliant, verifying that they do not use any components from prohibited Chinese companies in their LED Products.
Effective August 2020, per Section 889(a)(1)(B), the federal government cannot enter, renew, or extend a contract with a company that uses covered technology, defined as equipment, systems, or services obtained or derived from specified Chinese companies. NanoLumens is a US-based LED solutions expert, providing unrivaled LED products that are designed and assembled in the United States. This certification coupled with their standards, positions them favorably in the market with federal contractors who specify their products.
“NDAA compliance means that when we’re collaborating with A/V integrators and designers who specify display solutions for sensitive government or command/control type projects, they can be assured our products are in conformance. We stand by our products, and this certification continues to validate our standards of excellence,” said Ney Corsino, CEO for NanoLumens.
