Washington, DC, May 24, 2016 – The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) and Conklin & de Decker are pleased to announce that registration is open for their annual Commercial Operators Tax Seminar. This year the Tax Seminar has been designed as a one-day session and will be held at the Jet Linx headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska on July 13, 2016.

Unique from all other seminars and workshops, the Conklin & de Decker and NATA Tax Seminar is developed for commercial operators and will cover the latest tax issues these operators face on a daily basis. Attendees will learn about current tax subjects affecting aircraft charter and management companies, as well as important best practices.

“This seminar covers important fundamentals that business aircraft management companies and charter operators need to understand, as well as an update on current tax issues they are confronted with every day,” commented Nel Stubbs, Vice President and co-owner of Conklin & de Decker. “We redesigned the format this year as a one-day seminar with a reception the night before because we understand how demanding schedules can be in this industry.”

This seminar is a “must-attend” for all commercial aircraft operators and management companies, whether they serve as the Director of Operations, CFO or Controller. Owners and operators who have an aircraft on a 135 certificate or are considering doing so will find this seminar beneficial to the future of their operation.

The following subjects will be covered in the Commercial Operators Tax Seminar:

  • Federal Excise Taxes
  • State Taxes
  • Audits
  • Depreciation & Passive Activity Loss Rules
  • International Fees

The seminar price is $595 which includes a welcome reception the night before, Tuesday July 12th, and breakfast & lunch on the day of the seminar.
