At URETEK, we have rehabilitated over 50,000 miles of roadway, runways, tarmacs, and taxiways with UDI since 1989. UDI involves injection of structural polymer into base and subgrade soils at various depths. Our 486 Star material flows into voids and weak zones within the soil mass. Through a controlled chemical reaction, expanding polymer compacts surrounding soils and applies a specified pressure on targeted areas of the pavement above. Our engineers design a multi-level injection plan to gently return pavements to their original grade. The material quickly cures into a strong, dimensionally stable, and water-resistant geo-material, providing years of reliable service.
