The Batts T-1100 is a tow-behind deicer trailer. It has a tank capacity of 1,100 gallons and a boom spray swath of 50 feet. The booms are mounted with a clutch device so if the boom hits any foreign objects, it will fold back out of the way and then back into place once it has cleared the foreign object. It uses a GX630 Honda gasoline engine to power a 350 GPM product pump and is capable of a 1 gallon rate, per 1,000 square ft., at 25 MPH. The frame is custom built and powder-coated. The pumping system, boom plumbing and tank are made of 304 stainless steel. The unit is GPS-driven and will maintain the desired rate regardless of vehicle ground speed.
