2011 NBAA Maintenance Preview

Sept. 5, 2014
This year’s National Business Aircraft Association (NBAA) 64th annual meeting and convention will be held Oct. 10 – 12, 2011 in Las Vegas.

Join The Business Aviation World in Las Vegas!

This year’s National Business Aircraft Association (NBAA) 64th aAnnual meeting and convention will be held Oct. 10 – 12, 2011 in the exciting city of Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Convention Centre will be home for thousands as the business aviation world descends on LAS. My first visit to Las Vegas was in the late 1970s and I recall driving south of the city across open dessert to visit a small airport in Henderson. What a change this airport has gone through. Now known as Henderson Executive Airport, the NBAA static displays will be located here to allow people a chance to see a wide variety of aircraft in person.

On Sunday Oct. 9, 2011, one day prior to the 2011 NBAA Annual Meeting and Convention, AMTSociety and Caesars Entertainment invite you to the 4th Annual AMTSociety Scholarship Fundraising Golf Tournament at the beautiful Rio Secco Golf Club. These scholarships go to students interested in pursuing an aviation maintenance technician career, or to already existing AMTs wanting to broaden their education base. Join in the fun, networking, and camaraderie while participating in the great event and worthwhile cause. For more information visit www.amtsociety.org.

On Wednesday, Oct. 12, AMTSociety in conjunction with NBAA will hold an FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) Renewal session.

Scheduled throughout the convention period are numerous maintenance and technical sessions that address topics from management of the aviation maintenance function, to technical topics relating to specific aircraft, engines, avionics, and more.

See you in Las Vegas! Ron
