David Davenport Joins FlightSafety's Senior Management Team in New York
LA GUARDIA AIRPORT, New York (September 20, 2012) – FlightSafety International is pleased to announce that David Davenport will join the company’s senior management team at its corporate offices in New York. David was recently promoted to Vice President. He previously served as Manager of FlightSafety’s Savannah Learning Center and Regional Operations Manager.

While David will contribute to all aspects of FlightSafety’s business, his primary focus will be on the development, delivery and expansion of the company’s corporate aviation training programs. He will also participate in business and financial decisions and help to guide FlightSafety’s strategic planning processes, business development activities and its ongoing investment in new programs, equipment and facilities.
David graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1982 with a degree in business management and then served in the Air Training Command. He joined FlightSafety in 1996 as Assistant Manager of the West Palm Beach Learning Center and then served as Director, CAA Training at FlightSafety Academy prior to being named Assistant Manager of the Atlanta Center. David became Manager of the Savannah Center in 2005 and assumed responsibility for FlightSafety’s Gulfstream aircraft training programs. He was promoted to Regional Operations Manager in 2008 and to Vice President in 2012.
