Aviation School Now Offering Weekend Classes
IRVING, TX (04/08/14) – Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) – Irving campus is now offering weekend classes in its Aviation Maintenance Technician program for those individuals looking to earn their Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification from the Federal Aviation Administration. AIM’s program is composed of both classroom and hands on learning, with a large portion of the program consisting of instruction on aircraft in an actual hangar teaching students to highly skilled become aircraft mechanics. Graduates of the Aviation Maintenance Technician program can look forward to exciting careers in aviation and other maintenance fields as inspectors, installers, parts managers, equipment or service technicians.
Weekend classes run Friday through Sunday for 8 hours a day. Students participating in the weekend program can expect the same program length as if they were in AIM’s normal weekday program. This format is ideal for the working adult that may already be working in aviation or a related industry and needs additional training to take the next step in their aviation maintenance careers, while still maintaining their full-time schedule.
