Meet General Fig Newton at the Aerospace Industry Business After Hours
The New England Air Museum is proud to announce an evening with General Lloyd W. "Fig" Newton, as the keynote speaker at their third and final aerospace industry networking event of 2019.
"From his 269 missions in Vietnam, to his selection as a member of the Thunderbirds, to his service as Air Force Liaison to the U.S. House of Representatives, General Newton served his country with great energy, commitment and distinction. His passion for the promotion of STEM education in the years since his retirement from the Air Force ensures that his legacy of service will endure for a long time to come," said Greg Principato, President and CEO, National Aeronautic Association.
A retired four-star General, Newton served as Executive Vice President of Pratt & Whitney International Military Programs until 2006, and currently serves on the boards of L3 Technologies and the National Business Aviation Association.
