FlightSafety Awarded a New Multi-Country KC-46 Aircraft and Maintenance Training Contract
FlightSafety International has been awarded a new contract to provide multi-country KC-46 aircrew and maintenance training. The training will be delivered to International Military Students (IMSs) to support the United States government and Air Force Security Assistance Training international partners' mission objectives.

FlightSafety will be responsible for program management, instruction and required courseware modification in support of IMS training to be performed at the Altus Air Force Base in Oklahoma.
The contract is a not-to-exceed $25,000,000 award and expected to be completed by September 2026. Japan is expected to begin IMS training starting in 2021. Israel and the UAE are also projected to utilize this IMS training in the future.
FlightSafety was awarded the KC-46 Aircrew Training System contract by the United States Air Force to provide the Aircrew Training System for the KC-46 military aerial refueling and strategic transport aircraft in 2013. It includes the design and manufacture of KC-46 Weapon System, Boom Operator, and Part Task Trainers. The Weapon System Trainers feature FlightSafety’s industry leading technology which includes electric motion and control loading and visual systems with all-new glass mirror display technology.
