SIMAERO announces the acquisition of an ATR 72-600 Full Flight Simulator in the Paris CDG Training Center.
This TR training device will complement SIMAERO's existing simulator fleet.
The ATR 72-600 Full Flight Simulator is installed, certified and ready for training of customers.
Previously the simulator was owned and operated by the aircraft manufacturer’s ATR Training Center under a housing and maintenance agreement with SIMAERO, in the same location.
“This acquisition enables SIMAERO to expand our global Full Flight Simulator fleet, in particular on the successful ATR 42/72 segment, as it complements the two ATR 42/72 full flight simulators that we already operate in our Paris and Johannesburg Training Centers”, said Nicolas Mouté, CEO of SIMAERO.
The CAE (ex TRU) built ATR 72-600 Full flight Simulator has been manufactured in 2017. It corresponds to ATR 3.1 standard, has EASA level D certification, ACAS II, UPRT, Icing, Approach to stall, ETOPS capabilities. Electro pneumatic motion and RSI 200x40 degrees visual systems ensure excellent comfort during training. The convenient debriefing station with video recording, registration of flight parameters and crew communication is also available.
