Completion of Northland's AMT program and Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification will take students approximately 20 months. This certification is a pre-requisite for UAS certification, which requires another semester of coursework to complete approximately 23 additional credits. Students in the UAS program will also earn their Aircraft Electronics Technician (AET) certification, graduating with a total of three certifications (A&P, UAS, and AET) in just two years. A wind turbine certification program is currently being developed. All students completing the UAS maintenance technician training program will receive comprehensive step-by-step job placement support, ensuring a fulfilling, profitable career in an industry that is growing quickly.
