SIMAERO France has received the EASA certificate for a Boeing B737-800 Full Flight Simulator from French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC) after a full upgrade of the Flight Model software (new Boeing model Block 3.0).
The Boeing B737-800 Full Flight Simulator is now certified under EASA regulation CS FSTD(A) Issue 2 (including UPRT & Icing). It was previously certified under CS FSTD(A) Initial Issue.
The improvements for the customers include upgrade to Boeing Block Point 3.0 (Upgrade of Data Package), upgrade to CDS BP15 with Honeywell rehost, upgrade to FMC U13, upgrade to EGPWS with Honeywell Mark V rehost and UPRT+EET (Full Stall, Icing, Upset) via Boeing Data Package.
The technical team has also fully upgraded the computers cabinet as well as the Primary Control Loading to the last Moog BV technology.

The Boeing 737 NG full flight simulator is located at SIMAERO Paris Training Center’s premises 10 minutes away from Paris CDG airport terminals. The device is equipped with RSI visual system Raster XT5 180°-90,° collimated, with day, dusk, night, dawn laser options. It has CFM 56-7B27/B1 engine fit, EICAS instrument fit, ACAS II, ETOPS capability.
