GAMA Adds Flight Design and Sandel Avionics to Membership
WASHINGTON, DC, August 22, 2012 – The board of directors of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) has approved Flight Design and Sandel Avionics as the association's newest members. GAMA now has 78 member companies worldwide.
Flight Design, GmbH is based in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Germany and is the manufacturer of the recently EASA type certified CTLS and the developer of the Flight Design C4. Beginning with hang gliders in the early 1980s, and progressing to light-sport aircraft and with the EASA certified CTLS and the EASA/FAA to-be-certified C4 soon to make its first flight, Flight Design has approached air sports and the manufacture of its aircraft as innovative professionals. Since production of the high-technology, carbon-fiber CT was launched in 1997, more than 1,800 Flight Design airplanes have been delivered to customers throughout the world.
Sandel Avionics Inc., the terrain avoidance leader, engineers and manufactures advanced avionics for rotorcraft and fixed-wing aircraft.
