Greenville, SC— 2020, the deadline for mandated ADSB modifications, may seem far away, but it isn’t. If you wait until the last minute, you will surely encounter scheduling conflicts because there simply will not be enough maintenance facilities in the United States to handle the volume. And the cost of making the modifications later will increase dramatically.

Technicians at all five of Stevens Aviation facilities are standing ready to make the required modifications now. Stevens also offers CPDLC, TCAS 7.1 and FANS. The benefits of early adoption include lower cost of installation and, since several countries have already passed their mandated ADSB targets, there will be no difficulty operating in their airspace today. According to Isaac White, Engineering Manager at Stevens, “Every serious MRO in the country is looking at ways to solve the statistical capacity problem of this 2020 mandate. We have derived a very clean solution here at Stevens and look forward to its continued roll out in the coming years.”
