Rockwell Collins To Share Lessons Learned, Future Plans at FACE™ Consortium

    CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (Sept. 14, 2016) – Rockwell Collins, a leader in developing open systems architecture avionics solutions, will host the Sept. 27-29 meeting of the Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE™) Consortium in Huntsville, Alabama. Heather Robertson, senior director of Rotary Wing Solutions for Rockwell Collins, will deliver the keynote address on Sept. 28 and discuss the company’s accomplishments, plans and lessons learned in using the FACE Technical Standard.

    The FACE Consortium is a government and industry partnership working to develop standards for a common operating environment to support portable capability applications across multiple avionics systems. Rockwell Collins is a sponsor and founding member of the FACE Consortium, and holds multiple leadership positions at the steering committee and subcommittee levels.
