GENEVA, Switzerland (May 28, 2018) - Rockwell Collins has received a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for its Pro Line 21TM airspace modernization package on Beechcraft Premier I/IA light business jets.
The package, available now through all Rockwell Collins-authorized dealers, gives operators more flexibility in equipping their aircraft for next-generation airspace and procedures. Highlights of the offerings include automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast (ADS-B) Out compliance; synthetic vision system (SVS); updated flight management system (FMS) with localizer performance and approach procedures with vertical guidance (LPV/APV) and radius-to-fix (RF) legs; and the latest version of the Integrated Flight Information System (IFIS) for aircraft equipped with this system.
More details on baseline and optional features of the package can be found here. Similar Pro Line 21 upgrade packages also have been certified for certain Hawker and King Air models.
“With more than 4,900 aircraft flying with our proven and reliable Pro Line 21, we’re committed to providing owners with an ongoing roadmap for the future of their aircraft,” said Craig Olson, vice president and general manager, Business and Regional Systems for Rockwell Collins. “This latest update not only covers ADS-B, but also brings a whole new flying experience to pilots through upgrades like FMS enhancements and synthetic vision.”
