Collins Aerospace Delivers New Capabilities to CJ3 Owners in Europe with EASA Approval of Pro Line Fusion Retrofit Offering
Cessna Citation CJ3s registered in Europe can now have the advanced capabilities of Collins Aerospace Systems’ Pro Line Fusion avionics, which was recently certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). This offering has already seen great success in the United States with approximately 32 aircraft with the upgrade already in service.
Pro Line Fusion significantly improves the pilots interface with the flight deck by replacing the factory-installed Pro Line 21 LCD displays with three 14.1-inch touchscreen LCD displays with configurable windows. Other features designed to improve situational awareness and reduce pilot workload for CJ3 aircraft owners include:
- Market-leading synthetic vision as a standard feature
- Geo-referenced electronic navigation charts that display own-ship aircraft position as a standard feature
- A fully loaded package of baseline equipment for operation in modernizing global airspace – beyond ADS-B mandate compliance, offering SBAS-capable GNSS, localizer performance with vertical guidance (LPV) approaches, radius-to-fix (RF) legs and more
“We continue to see aftermarket demand for the features and capabilities of Pro Line Fusion,” said Christophe Blanc, vice president and general manager, Business & Regional Avionics. “Operators clearly see the value of Pro Line Fusion on new production aircraft in the US and we are pleased to make the same solution now available to European CJ3 owners.”
Installations can be arranged by contacting a Collins Aerospace sales representative and or qualified dealer.
Collins Aerospace will have a Pro Line Fusion retrofit installation available for viewing at the 2019 EBACE static display in Geneva, Switzerland.
