German based company INFORM recently unveiled GS AirportMap. Based on geographical data of each airport and a real-time information system, GS AirportMap is able to show the precise location of aircraft gates, stands, aircraft position and the flight being handled at each of those locations as well as the status of tasks and the position and status of GPS-equipped vehicles, PDAs and mobile phones.
