Shadin Avionics Announces 600th Fuel Flow System Sale to Air Tractor

June 26, 2012

Shadin Avionics continues its long history of providing world class aircraft fuel management solutions by delivering its 600th fuel flow system to Air Tractor, a global leader in agricultural aircraft. Air Tractor also announced that Shadin Microflo-L fuel flow systems will be standard on all aircraft deliveries going forward, a significant statement that validates the Microflo-L system value to reduce fuel usage, enhance flight safety and maximize aircraft utilization.

“Shadin Fuel Management systems have a long history of saving aircraft owners money and reducing pilot workload,” stated Trevor Lund, Shadin Avionics Product Manager. “Air Tractor recognizes this customer benefit and we look forward to working with them to further enhance this capability.”

Shadin Fuel Management Systems product line includes the Microflo-L, Miniflo-L, Digiflo-L, and a number of flow transducers that support Shadin’s Engine Trend Monitor (ETM) and Air Data Computers (ADC) systems. In the coming months, Shadin will be introducing its AIS Fuel Flow, an avionic interface system that can integrate Shadin fuel flow data with various GPS and EFIS systems, eliminating the need for panel space required by an indicator. All of Shadin’s Fuel Management Systems can be outfitted with NVG capability from Aero Dynamix and are supported by a strong portfolio of STC’s.
