Performance Aircraft Services utilizes AquaStripping to remove legacy polysulfide sealants. It can install polysulfide sealant, or as an option, install EF-5992 Polyurethane sealant in fuel tanks. This sealant is 34 percent lighter, more flexible, and in AFRL testing, withstood 1.4 million oscillations with no degradation. It will not dry or crack when the wing tanks are empty and oxygen cannot penetrate it, which prevents most types of corrosion. NDI and eddy current testing can be done through EF-5992.
