AAR Names Mark Parry Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Landing Gear Services
WOOD DALE, Illinois, August 22, 2017 – Mark Parry has been appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing at AAR Landing Gear Services, AAR Corp.
Mark began his career in the aerospace industry over 28 years ago, with Rolls-Royce as an apprentice in the U.K. During his tenure at Rolls-Royce, as a Design and Verification Engineer, Mark worked on gas turbine engines for military aircraft.
Mark’s career has led him from Project Design Engineer, designing and testing a complex gearbox for a twin engine, single propeller application for a light commercial aircraft to part of a team responsible for integrating the A380 landing gear structure and systems into the aircraft.
Transitioning from the UK to Canada in 2004, to work for Goodrich Landing Gear (now part of United Technologies Aerospace Systems), he held various positions with increasing responsibilities in program management and engineering working on new development programs. Moving in 2011 to the aftermarket business development team responsible for landing gear MRO sales worldwide, he later included wheel and brake MRO services to his long list of accomplishments and expertise, soon serving as Director, Business Development and Strategy.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of West of England, and is listed as a Chartered Engineer with the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.
