This acquisition follows an initial investment in Dysol/Dynamold in 2010 and the acquisition of Magchem (Montreal, Canada) in 2011 to reinforce Socomore’s position in North America around its core business - high added-value specialty chemicals used in critical surface preparation, processing, protection, and control operations.

Socomore has now a subsidiary based in Montreal, Canada and two subsidiaries in Fort Worth, Texas which offer large and complementary product ranges:
- Dysol solvents,
- Dynamold moldable shims , NDT and replication materials,
- Magchem engine product line,
- Socomore surface treatment and preparation product ranges.
