IRVINE, Calif. … Power management company Eaton has named Benjamin Yiu general manager, Asia Pacific, for the Aerospace Group. Yiu will be responsible for leading Eaton's business activities in the Asia-Pacific region and will be based in Shanghai, China. He will report to Uday Yadav, president of Eaton's Aerospace Group.
“Benjamin has demonstrated throughout his career a strong customer focus and an ability to deliver results and work globally,” said Yadav. “I am excited to welcome him to the Aerospace leadership team as we continue pursuing strategies to grow Eaton's business and customer base in the Asia-Pacific region.”
Yiu began his Eaton career in 1998 as a business development executive and went on to become general manager for the Industrial Brake and Clutch business in Shanghai. Most recently, he was mobile business manager, Power and Motion Controls, Hydraulics Group. Prior to Eaton, Yiu worked for Concurrent Computer Corporation and China Aerospace International Holdings Ltd.
Yiu has a bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering from Fuzhou University and an MBA from University of Central Lancashire.
