Advent Aerospace Management Changes Following Spinoff of Aircraft Systems Division
April 21, 2015, Rye, NH – Following the recent spinoff of the Aircraft Systems division into a standalone corporation, the board of directors of Advent Aerospace, Inc. and Advent Aircraft Systems, Inc. has approved the following changes in the management structure of each company to further optimize the marketing, operations and investment activities of the businesses:
Mike Fourticq, Jr will become CEO and Steve Jourdenais will become president of Advent Aerospace, Inc. Jourdenais was previously senior vice president – Interiors. Fourticq, who is a board member and a principal at majority shareholder Hancock Park Associates, was previously president of the company. Peter Hokanson, CFO; Frank Nelson, VP/GM of Jormac Aerospace; and Shawn Bucher, VP/GM of Cabin Innovations, will remain in their present positions, reporting to Steve Jourdenais.
Ronald Roberts will become president of Advent Aircraft Systems, Inc. Roberts was formerly vice president of the Aircraft Systems division. As previously announced, Tom Grunbeck has joined Advent Aircraft Systems as vice president, marketing and sales.
Ken Goldsmith, who is the principal of major shareholder Yankee Pacific, LLC and previously managing director of Advent Aerospace, Inc., will continue as an Advent Aerospace board member and become managing director overseeing Advent Aircraft Systems, Inc.
“The continued robust growth of Advent Aerospace, Inc. and the new Advent Aircraft Systems, Inc. will be fully supported by the managerial changes we are announcing today,” said Goldsmith. “This evolution in the executive ranks of both companies will provide the focus and know-how we are seeking to expand each of these excellent businesses.”
Advent Aerospace, Inc. and Advent Aircraft Systems, Inc. share the same ownership, comprised of employees and equity partners Yankee Pacific, LLC and Hancock Park Associates. Advent Aerospace, Inc. administration will be moved to Largo, FL, co-located with the Jormac Aerospace division. Advent Aircraft Systems operations will remain in Tulsa, OK, but move to expanded facilities.
